2020 Chinese American Citizens Alliance  National Essay Competition

The Chinese American Citizens Alliance of Greater New York (CACAGNY) invites any student enrolled in 9th to 12th grades to participate in the 2020 Chinese American Citizens Alliance National Essay Competition.

This annual essay writing contest, sponsored by the Chinese American Citizens Alliance for over 40 years, has encouraged generations of students to think creatively and write about current issues concerning Chinese Americans. This year's contest will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 10:00AM at various locations nationwide. The students write on the topic given at the start of the contest for 90 minutes (if on a laptop, no Internet allowed) or 2 hours (if by hand writing).  The national scholarship awards include $1,000 for the first prize. CACAGNY will make additional awards to participants from the Greater New York area. There is no fee to participate. See last three years' CACAGNY Essay Competitions at:
